Backcountry angling
Angling for Arctic charr in our rivers means exclusive fishing in pristine rivers on a backdrop of rugged peaks.
This is one-in-a-lifetime angling, and when you reach the river and land your first catch you’ll understand why.
All the best rivers are in remote locations only accesible by boat, and the dramatic scenery is well worth enjoying – if you can get your attention away from the pool-and-drop challenge at the end of the fly fishing line.
The waters in the rivers are clear, fast-flowing, and the days on the rivers offer great opportunities in all kinds of weather, while the nights are spent in a comfortable camp in the valley where we share the adventues of the day over a good meal and talk about memories of past fishing trips.
We spend a total of 6,5 days fishing – and both before and after the trip you can explore Greenland’s second largest town Sisimiut and enjoy the vibrant mix of urban and traditional Inuit culture.
You bring fishing gear, clothing, a sleeping bag, in-camp food, and high expectations – but we can help you arrange camp food.
Together with our guides we provide the minicruise to and from the river, all camp gear, personal camp tents, hotel accommodation before and after the trip, and some of the most spectacular Arctic charr fly and spin fishing anywhere.
Practical stuff
