Backcountry Winter Skiing

Here’s your unique chance to combine a trip to the Arctic Circle in Greenland with a full blown backcountry adventure and hands on Winter expedition training.

It’s a package not offered anywhere else on these shores, and the two weeks spent preparing and completing a 180 kilometer ski tour will inspire, teach, test, and challenge you every day while guided by professional guides familiar to the local climate and landscape.

We pull our own pulks while skiing down the famous Arctc Circle Trail, and along the way we live in tent camps, build snow caves, and enjoy the crisp Greenlandic Winter.

All our guides are former Sirius Patrol men or Special Force soldiers with years of backcountry experience and knowledge of mountain and ice safety, and they always bring navigation equipment, GPS, a sat phone, an extended first aid kit, and other safety gear.

The Arctic Circle Trail is a classic overland backcountry route where only a few dogsleds and snowmobiles will cross your paths along the way, and the silence, size, and natural beauty out here combine to give you an adventure that is still only rated medium hard simply because you’re in such good, safe hands with your guides.

It is our mission to teach you as much as we can on this trip, and at night, when we gather in the tents, we mix stories of past expeditions with the day’s adventures.

Practical stuff
Minimum group size is 8 while the maximum is 18 people – with the large groups split out on two guides.
