Now’s the time to test yourself with a new and different challenge, so join us on a daylong trip onto the Greenland Ice Cap itself where we explore the dynamic, jagged edge of the ice.
We will look for the incredible colorations in the crevasses and if good weather finds ud along the way we will explore even deeper using our ice climbing gear.
Practical Stuff
This is a trip for healthy people in good shape, and the minimum age is 15 years old. Those under 18 need a written permission from a legal guardian.
The trip is available year round from the Point 660 trailhead, while Russell Glacier adventures are available from january till may.
Minimum group size is 2 people and the maximum is 8.
Arctic Caving Adventure supplies all necessary glacier equipment, and the guide will carry a first aid kit, gps, map, compas, and a sat phone for emergency use.
The price includes overview of and instructions in the use of the gear, safety instructions, transfer to the glacier, and lunch including tea and coffee.
