Ice fishing on the fiord (WINTER)
On this trip we drive to the harbour, and from there walk out on the thick Kangerlussuaq fiord ice to a good fishing spot.
The fiord itself is Greenland’s longest, and the sheer size of the sky and the frozen surface is worth pausing to take in before drilling holes in the ice to try our luck. And usually there are plenty of fish!
Depending on the ice conditions this trip is available from January through April.
