Kangaamiut

Previous Next

Real roughness resides here

The mighty Eternity Fiord and the highest peaks on Greenland’s West Coast form the backdrop of the settlement Kangaamiut, where hunting and fishing in the rich fiords and backcountry sustain a population of 350 people.

The Eternity Fiord itself is a true hidden gem, with vertical rock walls, hanging glaciers, and a rich cultural history, while the settlement is a veritable hot spot for all levels of adventure.

Out here local artisans are at work year round to produce some of the finest crafts on the coast., so when you’re not watching whales, kayaking the archipelago or dropping right out of a helicopter and into the next snowboarding line, there’s always a moment of zen to catch.
