Kayak rentals at North Safari

We run a shop in downtown Kangerlussuaq, right by the airport where we rent out kayaks and provide a shuttle service to take you to one of the large lakes or down to the fiord.

Only experienced kayakers should tackle the powerful currents and open waters of the longest fiord in Greenland.

From the shop we also rent out Spot satellite transmitters, GPS receivers, mountain bikes, and canoes and we sell backcountry food, outdoor gear, and equipment.

Practical stuff
All kayak/canoe rentals include life vests, paddles and spray hoods.
All kayaks/canoes are delivered at North Safari’s shop right byk Kngerlussuaq Airport.

Canoe models are Hasle 530 with a 350 kg load capacity.
Kayaks are Rainbow Oasis Expedition with 2 storage compartments.

DKK 220 for a kayak / DKK 330 for a canoe for half a day
DKK 440 for a kayak / DKK 660 for a canoe for a full day
DKK 1200 for a kayak / DKK 1500 for a canoe for 3 days
DKK 2000 for a kayak / DKK 2500 for a canoe for one week

DKK 100 for wet suits per day
DKK 400 per person for return trip transportation to Lake Ferguson or the harbour
DKK 800 per person for return trip transportation to Langesø (the Long Lake)
