Musk ox hunting – Summer and Fall

Hunting is our main way of life, and we make sure the whole animal enters into a sustainable cycle by selling meat and musk ox products in our own shop Mamartuliat in Kangerlussuaq.

A trophy hunt with us is a 3-4 day adventure where we travel to our backcountry camp, set up for the hunt, prepare rifles and gear, and set off on foot.

We accompany you on the hunt and through our local knowledge and traditional skills you will get a sneak preview of what your life would be like if you ever decided to change tracks and become a subsistence hunter.

Once the hunt is over, the trophy has been prepared, and we have carried the musk ox back to the camp there will be time to take a breather, relax with som angling or go exploring in the area.

Practical stuff
Hunting like this requires a decent fitness level, since we may have to walk a good distance to find the right animals.

We provide transportation, food and accommodation but you need to bring your own hunting gear and clothes.
