A very cool thing in Sarfannguit is to stay with Piitaaraq Fleischer in his private home where you will be treated as a part of the family.

Piitaaraq and his wife run the settlement shop, and they have made a habit out of inviting hikers and other visitors to the settlement into their house which sits well up on the slopes of the island where Sarfannguit is situated.

Staying with this family is as real as it gets and as close to Greenland everyday life as you will get.
