Ride the Arctic Circle Trail

The Arctic Circle Trail is the gem of the Winter mountains, and this full day trip is without a doubt our greatest adventure.

The route goes along the 160 kilometers of backcountry trails connecting Sisimiut and Kangerlussuaq over age old dogsledding grounds, through remote mountains, and over large frozen lakes and fiords.

We bring lunch for a break at a large hut midway between the two towns, and along the trail we stop for snacks, tea, and coffee when the time and place is right.

During the 8 hours out here we have plenty of photo opportunities, and wildlife may be seen at ny given point, while we surely meet other travelers on dogsleds and snowmobiles also making this magnificent trip.

Practical stuff
The trip is available from early February till late April and the exclusive nature of this ride only allows 2 passengers per tour.

We always bring safety gear, a sat phone, sleeping bags and a tent, and you will be equipped with a helmet and walked through any necessary saftey procedures before be take off.
