Snowmobile from sea to summit with Igloo Mountain

This snowmobile ride takes you on 1400 meter climb to top of the Igloo Mountain glacier near Sisimiut.

Power up and head into the snowcovered backcountry on a mountainclimb of epic proportions on this exhilarating 100-kilometer adventure where we ride through valleys, across frozen lakes and fiords before ascending the slopes of Igloo Mountain.

Depending on the season you’ll have either Northern Lights or the powerful Spring sun as your companion and the skilled guided know this backcountry from lifelong experience riding and skiing it.

The peak itself is a small platform giving a handful of people ample room to marvel at the 360 degree views. From up here you can see all the way to the Ice Cap out East, and the Davis Strait fills the entire Western horizon while everything else is mountains, mountains, and mountains.

Practical stuff
We drive sturdy, safe, low-emission 4-stroke snowmobiles that are true workhorses with room for the driver and you, and we bring snacks and hot drinks so we can make coffee breaks along the way.
