Here’s a different kind of weekend break for you.

Join us on a 3 day 2 night weekend trip on the Ice Cap where we explore ice formations, look for moulins and sink holes, watch the Northern Lights (visible in Winter only), camp out on the ice, and enjoy being able to stand on the world’s second largest glacier.

We will also look for the incredible colorations in the crevasses and if good weather finds ud along the way we will explore even deeper using our ice climbing gear.

This is a trip for healthy people in good shape, and the minimum age is 15 years old. Those under 18 need a written permission from a legal guardian.

Arctic Caving Adventure supplies all necessary glacier equipment, and the guide will carry a first aid kit, gps, map, compas, and a sat phone for emergency use. We also prove all camp equipment and sleeping gear, food and drink.

You bring sturdy boots for glacier walking, outer shell jackets and pants, a 60-70 liter backpack, sunglasses, gloves, beanie, extra thick sweater, a fleece or down jacket, extra thermal underwear and socks, suncreen and lip balm.

Practical Stuff
Group sizes from 3 to 8 people. Larger groups can make special arrangements.

This trip runs year round from the road end at Point 660 where we hike up onto the Ice Cap.
